Known around the world as “that cat on zoom in Jarrett’s vest during meetings”, Kaylee is a cat with quite an academic journey. Joining the nascent lab when Jarrett was still a grad student, Kaylee ventured throughout California, cross the country to Boston, and then held court during working groups, GOOS meetings, lab meetings, attended data science trainings, and more.
She passed away at 18 1/2 in November of 2024, but will always be remembered as quite the nuissance.
